Message from the CEO

We will spread the Cambridge brand worldwide as a passionate, driven team.

Kondo Kogyo Co., Ltd. and Japan Cambridge Filter Co., Ltd. have merged to form 「Cambridge Filter Corporation Co., Ltd.」

Developed in the United States and used in the Manhattan Project, the Cambridge Filter later went through industry consolidation and other changes. As a result, our group is now the only manufacturer in the world producing the Cambridge brand—widely regarded as synonymous with high-performance filters. On the occasion of Kondo Kogyo’s 70th anniversary, we have integrated our sales and manufacturing companies and, as “Collective Flow”—a “burning collective”—we are determined to revive the Cambridge brand in the global market. With this aspiration in mind, we have adopted the company name 「Cambridge Filter Corporation」, the original name used at the time of its founding in the United States.

Cambridge Filters are high-end filters that comply with a wide range of standards and are used in manufacturing plants for electronic devices, pharmaceuticals, and food, as well as in hospitals and nuclear-related facilities.

They have also been recognized by leading U.S. technology institutions such as NASA and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, where our filters have been selected for use.

Going forward, we will continue to focus on R&D to pursue the capabilities required of the Cambridge brand as a leader in the high-performance filter industry, as well as on the manufacture of filters and filter-related equipment. We are also advancing the development of new products centered on the keywords of reuse, resource conservation, and energy savings, while building a value chain that contributes to the SDGs.

As manufacturing—especially in semiconductors and electronics—is said to be shifting production bases back from overseas to Japan, we will leverage the full advantages of our integrated sales and manufacturing structure and continue working to deliver even greater customer satisfaction.
